They were about 10 - 20 bucks cheaper (per tire) then anywhere else and they didn't try and sell my crap I didn't need. "T" is right, you don't have to rent to own from them, you can just buy em out right. I bought the tires right off, and if I ever decide to get wheels, you can bet I will be hitting them up for those too. Like buying a car, if you are in a position to finance it, of course you are going to be paying more then just buying them out right. Rent to Own is meant to provide something someone might not otherwise be able to buy all at once in my opinion. For some people, this works for them.
