It was on Tuesday! It did lead to a lovely week, but it wasn't because it was Valentines' Day, or because I had been a jerk and needed some relationship insurance. Rather, it was just because... which might be the best reason of all. Of course, I still did the card and gift thing today, for both my wife and my 2-year-old daughter, but I think Tuesday was even better. Jerry Funny, I did the breakfast in bed thing for my wife – but it wasn’t today. It was on Tuesday! It did lead to a lovely week, but it wasn’t because it was Valentines’ Day, or because I had been a jerk and needed some relationship insurance. Rather, it was just because… which might be the best reason of all.

We just switched our normal out to eat night of Wednesday to tonight. I bought the husband a funny card, a very small bar of Godiva 72% dark chocolate, and because he enjoys them so much a scented candle for his home office.
