I really got a kick out of this article. Yahoo is now going to give it’s Users unlimited storage for email. Google, not to be outdone, is going to offer “Infinity plus one” email storage. There are a couple other funny statements in the article as well. Check it out.
The other thing that strikes me about the article is the last few comments regarding Hotmail. It really kind of rang true. MSFT is spending all their time trying to monetize their service with old approaches. They are obviously limiting the funding for their online email strategy and I really don’t think their “one care” strategy is going to work either. My guess is that “One care” will end up going down the doomed path of the Zune. Oh, wait, sorry. I guess the Zune hasn’t officially failed yet. Give it time.
