I heard that in the 2010 foreclosure crisis, law firms were being penalized for not pushing paperwork fast enough, so nobody read the paperwork so nobody caught errors, and so tons of people were foreclosed upon who shouldn’t have been.
Wow! That is terrible! How can a bank foreclose with evidence that he paid his mortgage? Did he really have to leave his home?
