When I was younger, a deposit bounced. This was a large deposit. Before the snail mail arrived, telling me I was going to bounce checks, I went to the atm and got a receipt much like this; saying I had millions. IT is a bank think that happens. Mostlikely, this person does not have that much cash available and is in a pickle.
I don’t think that they bank with Capital One because there’s a fee for using the ATM.
It is quite obvious that he used an ATM from Capitol One to access a brokerage account that has an ATM card he posesses. Probably not his funds but uses it anyway.
